Resources to Help You

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a special service provided for State of Kansas benefits eligible employees and their dependents at no charge. The EAP provides information, short-term counseling, advice, and referrals from licensed professionals who understand the typical stresses we all face day in and day out.

Resources to Help a Student

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) can help students with issues related to adjusting to college and other psychological, interpersonal, and family problems. Individual, couple, and group sessions are available.

Health Education Resource Office (HERO) provides wellness and prevention education in the following topic areas: alcohol; tobacco; other drugs; sexual health; nutrition and weight management; and stress management.

Student Concern Review Team (SCRT) assists University of Kansas students, faculty and staff who have concerns about a specific student's behavior and don't know where to turn.
